Holders of the Thuringia Volunteer Card are entitled to one free ticket for every ticket purchased.

In September 2001 the Lindenau Museum was admitted to the Blue Book, the list of important cultural institutions in East Germany and has been a member of the Conference of National Cultural Institutions since 2002. Since 1998, Lindenau Museum has awarded the Gerhard Altenbourg Prize.
